I teach evening and daytime classes/workshops at An lanntair in Stornoway and 'creative connections' online  workshops.

 Individual/small group printmaking sessions are available at my studio by arrangement.

Workshops can be 1/2 day or full day sessions or a block of workshops 

£40 for a morning or afternoon session

WORKSHOPS

  • Monoprinting using gelli-plates and acrylic paint - a creative and enjoyable way of exploring the magic of basic printmaking (1/2 day workshop)

  • Creative projects with printed papers - make a concertina book, gift box or collage picture using papers that you have printed yourself (1/2 day workshop)

  • Linoprinting 1linoprint techniques from simple designs .(1/2 day workshop

  • Lino print 2 -  learn to design and cut Japanese vinyl blocks, transferring your image to the vinyl and carving out the design.  Develop designs for repeat pattern printing.  print on paper and then on fabric with a printed tea-towel / tote bag as the finished product. (full day workshop)

  • Linoprinting 3 - Bringing colour to printmaking through multi-block lino prints, reduction lino prints, jigsaw lino prints. (2 1/2 day workshops)

  • Collagraph printmaking -  learn how to construct a collagraph plate from a card substrate and textured materials, intaglio inking and printing on the etching press - this is an exciting way of creating unique and highly textured prints - 2 half day sessions are needed

  • CHILDREN'S PRINTMAKING WORKSHOPS - Gelli plate printing and printing with lego (maximum of 4 children aged 9yrs or above)

  • CHRISTMAS/SEASONAL WORKSHOPS - card making, printing unique designs on cards, tags, wrapping paper and gift Boxes

*PRINT STUDIO ACCESS - Printmakers can use the studio facilities, including my Hawthorne etching press by arrangement
